Batchflow® SBR Technology

Application

Batchflow® SBR technology is a technological solution based on integrated systems for aerobic biological treatment of waste/effluent water. It is fully automated and includes a completely integrated process design consisting of the aeration, settling, decanting in a single treatment tank.

Operation

Batchflow SBR technology is operated in several consecutive phases: all in one reactor

The Fill Phase: Wastewater is introduced into the reactor.
React Phase: Reactor is aerated which result in growth of microorganisms which degrades organic pollutants. These processes are vital for biological treatment, as nitrification and denitrification processes take place during this phase.
Settling Phase: Aeration and mixing are paused, and the biomass (activated sludge) settles, separating the treated water from solids.
Decanting Phase: The clarified effluent is decanted from the top of the reactor, while the sedimented sludge is left at the bottom.
