Adroit’s Clariflocculator is approved as a make with various municipal clients and industrial clients across India. We have wide range of refences of this equipment and has proven its reliability over years running across various Water Treatment Plants in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and across Indi
Clariflocculator is an essential equipment in water and wastewater treatment.
It is used to remove suspended solids (SS), turbidity, and contaminants. It combines the process of coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation in a single unit. It is a cost efficient equipment.
Clariflocculators are an indispensable part of municipal water treatment plants due to their high removal efficiency and capacity to process large volumes of water in less time. It is also widely utilized in industrial wastewater systems, sewage treatment plants.
Clariflocculator works by combining the processes of coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation in a single tank.
Chemical coagulants are added to the water to destabilize suspended solids making them to combine into flocs.
Slow mixing of water encourages formation of larger and heavier flocs, leading to their sedimentation.
The heavier flocs settle at the bottom of the tank which is then collected using a scraper and the clarified water is then treated.
Type: Full Bridge/ Half Bridge / Centrally Driven / Peripheral Driven.
Size – Dia up to 60m.
Depth – SWD up to 5m.
MOC – Mild Steel, Stainless Steel (AISI 304 & AISI 316) or as per customer requirement.
Clariflocculator is used to remove suspended solids, turbidity, and contaminants from influent water by process of coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation.
Commonly used coagulants include alum & lime.
It requires periodic inspection, cleaning and greasing as per operating conditions. Bearing require replacement post 5 years.
Operating conditions plays a primary role in maintenance but generally it is recommended every 3 to 6 months
Yes clariflocculators are specially designed to treat high turbidity levels by varying chemical dosing and flocculation rate.
A clarifier only allows sedimentation, while a Clariflocculator integrates coagulation flocculation and sedimentation, it is more efficient in treating water with high turbidity and suspended solids (SS).
