Knife Gate Valve
Bonnetless, full-lug knife gate valves for water, wastewater, sludge and slurry, from DN50 to DN600.
Isolation valves for liquids, solids and slurry
Adroit offers a complete line of unidirectional and bidirectional knife gate valves. They are bonnetless, full-lug valves manufactured in compliance with MSS SP-81 for industrial service.
Knife gate valves are used in power generation, cement, paper and pulp, chemicals, water treatment and other process industries for handling solids, liquids and liquid–solid mixtures.

Where knife gate valves are used
Application
Knife gate valves are used for on/off isolation in pipelines carrying water, wastewater, sludge, slurry and other media containing suspended solids.
How a knife gate valve works
Operation
A thin gate moves through the valve body to open or close the flow path. The valve is available with metal or soft seats, or bidirectional seating, depending on the application, and can be installed in vertical, horizontal or inclined positions.
